Every February, the �㽶ֱ�� School District celebrates Black History Month, honouring the many achievements of Black Canadians who have played a vital role in shaping Canada into the culturally diverse, compassionate and prosperous nation it is today.

This year’s theme, “Black Legacy and Leadership: Celebrating Canadian History and Uplifting Future Generations,” invites us to reflect on the significant contributions of Black communities to Canadian society. It is a time to deepen our understanding of Black culture and history and reaffirm our commitment to creating a safe, inclusive and respectful district for everyone.
